Job Description
This is an inside role reporting to the vice president of global sales and business development. The candidate should be able to successfully build pipeline through outbound efforts and bring deals to closure. This position requires the ability to determine and contact all relevant decision makers and influencers within the different functional areas of the organization: operational, managerial, technical, and executive. Should be capable of investigating potential customer problems and drivers, articulating value proposition in person and over the phone, and negotiating business terms and contracts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- 5-7 years of professional experience; ideal candidate would have software and/or network security background
- Solid work history with continued employment of 2+ year stints at past companies
- An energetic self-starter who is capable of quickly building a strong pipeline of potential business
- Must be results-driven and capable of delivering consistent, ongoing new business
- Demonstrable history of accurate forecasting and quota achievement
- Comfortable reaching out via phone and/or email to target (“cold”) prospects and conducting high-level business and technology discussions
- Ability to explore business challenges, resources, and expectations of the various stakeholders
- Ability to articulate and demonstrate business benefits and technical details to a varied audience
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills

Test Automation Engineer
Job Description
ThreatMetrix, Inc. is seeking a test automation engineer to be responsible for creating a continuous integration (CI) system that will enable complete automation of testing to detect and resolve issues early and creating a continuous delivery infrastructure that will provide near instantaneous software releases to a live Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment.
Position Responsibilities
Specific duties include:
- Designing and implementing a CI system by using and selecting open source tools, third-party tools, and in-house created systems
- Managing, monitoring and enhancing the CI system
- Training other engineers on the usage of the CI system
- Creating acceptance criteria and acceptance tests for new features
- Creating tests to improve functionality and code coverage on current and legacy products
- Participating in an agile/scrum team to perform iteration planning, story and task estimation, daily stand-up meetings and iteration retrospectives
- Filing descriptive bug reports that allow for easy reproducibility
Position Requirements
This position requires a master’s degree or the equivalent and two years of experience or a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent and five years of experience.

Principal Applications Engineer
About You
ThreatMetrix is looking for an applications engineer that has a passion for usability, simplicity, and response time in an enterprise SaaS product. This engineer will be able to take on large application projects with a general description and run with them going from design to final polished delivery. This engineer will be able to collaborate with an experienced team of backend and application engineers and be able to come up with solutions that accelerate our competitiveness in the market place.
Position Objectives
- Enhance the ThreatMetrix portal extending the functionality in the area of case management, workflow, and analytics
- Create effective user interfaces which enhance the user experience and demonstrate well in a competitive environment
- Provide exciting and enticing visual representation of ThreatMetrix’s customers’ fraud environment and status
Position Responsibilities
- Design, code, internally document, and unit-test application features
- Collaborate with other team members including QA, product management, and operations
