ThreatMetrix Relocates Headquarters to Downtown San Jose

To Accommodate a Growing Workforce and Client Base, ThreatMetrix Moves to the Capital of Silicon Valley

SAN JOSE, CA – October 31, 2011 – ThreatMetrix™, the fastest growing provider of cloud-based fraud prevention solutions that do not require personally identifiable information (PII), today announced its office relocation from Los Altos to San Jose, California.

The new office space, located at 160 W. Santa Clara, Suite 1400, San Jose, accommodates ThreatMetrix’s growing workforce, giving employees more space to better serve clients. In addition to employee headcount growing 20% in 2011, ThreatMetrix also obtained more than 250 new customers and key partners and reports a 268% increase in revenue year-over-year.

“After a lot of internal discussion with our employees at ThreatMetrix, we decided that relocating the company into downtown San Jose was the right choice,” said Reed Taussig, CEO of ThreatMetrix. “San Jose offers a dynamic setting, easy access to transportation, and the everyday conveniences that only a downtown working environment can provide.”

The San Jose office space will boast amazing views over the city and the surrounding mountains, large spacious conference rooms and corner balconies that open onto small patios, as well as gym access for employees, added Taussig.

“We are delighted to welcome ThreatMetrix to San Jose,” said San Jose Mayor Chuck Reed. “As the capital of Silicon Valley, San Jose has been home throughout our history to pioneering companies that have helped advance society from the industrial age to the knowledge age. We’re looking forward to seeing ThreatMetrix continue our city’s tradition as a leader in technological innovation.”

ThreatMetrix will be hosting an open house in early December for its employees, local businesses, city officials and clients, who range from leading retailers and financial institutions, to social media and Web 2.0 companies.
